2012

Christmas has come and gone. My sister and I did some last minute stocking stuffing for my mother, I got some great gifts, and we had a delicious dinner. I hope everyone else's Christmas was as good as mine. As for New years my mother and I stayed up till midnight with some wine and sparkling cider. Lydia was with friends but she sped over and came in just as the ball dropped. I don't know about you but I'm looking forward to many things this year like getting a job, turning 17, and finally being able to drive without an adult in the car. :]

I hope you have a great year,
Sophie

Alfred Hitchcock

So right now I'm on a bit of an old movie kick, I just watched Rear window and Psycho. Tomorrow is Vertigo and Dial M for Murder.
I have a few other movies on hold like The Birds, North by Northwest, and a non-Alfred movie It's a Wonderful Life. I figured December is the perfect time to watch the Christmas classic.
Others on my list to watch are Casablanca and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Winter

It's winter already and sadly there is no snow in Spokane yet, just cold air and cloudy skies. I like winter and hate it at the same time, which suits the grey feel to December. Looking back on 2011 I have mixed feelings, so many things have happened this year. For instance I turned sixteen in April, the doctor that I have been seeing for nine years retired in June, I got my permit in August, my sister turned eighteen in September, and this was the first year I didn't go trick or treating in October. Change feels weird and each year brings more, for once in my life I will try to be an optimist and look forward to the change.

Wish me luck

Welcome

I'm going to be honest and say, I probably won't be posting a lot. It's not that I don't think blogging is fun or whatever. It's just that I don't have much to say.
I was never any good with the 'about me' section on profiles so I guess you'll have to learn more about me by reading my blog.
